winter-rose cottage' is centrally situated in a quiet leafy street. Dogs are welcome (conditions apply).you are invited to sit in the cottage style garden at any time. Longer stays are negotiable. You may choose home-hosting or self-catering as there is a fridge, television, crockery and cutlery, dvd and video. It has a queen bed and a single. The independent garden unit is a large country-style room of rustic elegance (with own bathroom). It may be served by the wood fire in the cosy regency-style room (unless you are having it in bed!), or in summer you may prefer the dappled shade of the garden. A full or continental breakfast is complimentary. take a cuppa and a book or magazine and enjoy! they are happy to give you cuttings if you are a gardener.they provide warmth, caring and quality service.ask about their weekend deals.

Of an afternoon when the sun shines in the alcove, you will love to sit with a book or a cuppa. For your comfort there is a lovely en suite, electric blanket, fluffy Poona and Wii. This queen room is decorated in cottage style with its own en suite. Appreciate a cuppa or some reading on the comfy settee in the alcove or sit in the lounge where TV and DVD are provided. A continental or stuffed breakfast is complementary. This is a important twin room with a private bathroom. The three quarter antique brass beds with donas and electric blankets are over 100 years used and had been rescued from a collapsed garage. This Cottage is available as a BB or for a longer stay, self catering. Appreciate strolling in the garden, taking a cuppa in the shade of the trees or reading a book (how used fashioned!) We home grow some of our own vegetables and herbs (spray free), and like to donate these at breakfast. A flagstaff was erected to celebrate the bicentenary on the banks of the river. See some of the pictures depicting our celebrations. We have stayed here 4 times, and it is eternal a treat, to be there. The facilities are terrific, the rooms and beds very comfortable, and the lounge is welcoming, with a wood burning fire in winter. This is the only store we will stay in Bathurst. The beds are very comfortable and the cottage is very clean. Anne Marie is very welcoming and also provides a lovely cooked breakfast.
