Since 1969 Bathurst Broadcasters has been locally owned and operated by Ron and Stephanie Camplin who live at the top of William Street in Bathurst and who are very many hands on in the day to day operation of the company. Community service in the form of live and recorded community service announcements, and lost and found announcements very much define who we are. Ron Camplin has been in the radio industry for 60 plus years. Stephanie Camplin was awarded an AM for services to the community and regional broadcasting in 2017. Bathurst Broadcasters is one of the scanty remaining locally owned and operated broadcast operations in Australia.

Almost classified a local, Arden has been in Bathurst since 1997, behind spending maximum of his teenage years in Bolivia. Arden returned to Bathurst to whole an Advertising Degree at Charles Stuart University in 200, and worked as a retail manager locally for many years behind that. Arden’s experiences growing up in Bolivia can be read on his blog AK Tales. Some thirty years later it remains her beginning love. Jansen has worked in all aspects of the business from sales, promotion, copy writing and news to on air announcing. Jansen has also had the privilege of mentoring a number of Charles Stuart University communication students who have subsequently gone on to high profile media careers. Pete has lived for maximum of his life in the Central West of New South Wales and loves the life, the people and the food and wine of the region. Pete began filling in on afternoons while at the same time starting his coffee roasting company Fish River Roasters. It was during this time that Pete teamed up with Jansen Hosemans for the Fishy Friday program. Com takes care of all the technical aspects of the station looking behind the computers and the transmitters but once a week he likes to put down his soldering iron to sit in the chair to anchor the Hump Day shows with local historian Christopher Morgan. Initially content with honest reading news bulletins, through the guidance of industry professionals such as Jansen Hosemans, Phil Cole and Benny Hope, in less than six months he had the skills needed to become an on air announcer. Patty is young, passionate and excited to be a segment of the 2BS team. Bronwyn is our extrovert born in Darwin, she spent her formative years in Gapuwiyak, a little Aboriginal community in the Arnhem Land, moving to Dumbo in time to start school. Aron has worked with us since 2014 as a Marketing Consultant, but like so many who come through our doors, she soon broadened her talents and ventured on air both on 2BS and during live broadcasts on Brock. Phil’s other interests include being a singer songwriter and in his spare time he races road and track with Bathurst Cycle Club. With 2BS set to move to the FM band this year we want to make safe we bring you all your favorite songs and artists in crystal definite FM Stereo.
